اِلٰہِیْ اِنْ کَانَ فِیْہَا خَلَلٌ اَوْ نَقْصٌ مِنْ رُکُوْعِہَا اَوْ سُجُوْدِہَا، فَلَا تُؤَاخِذْنِیْ وَ تَفَضَّلَ عَلَیَّ بِالْقُبُوْلِ وَ الْغُفْرَانِ بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ.
اَللَّهُمَّ اِغْفِرْ لِي, وَارْحَمْنِي, وَاهْدِنِي, وَعَافِنِي, وَارْزُقْنِي
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ سَتَرَ ذُنُوْبِيْ وَ عُيُوْبِيْ وَ لَمْ يَفْضَحْنِيْ بَيْنَ الْخَلَایِقِ.
This kind of supplication is executed when persons are faced with crucial selections and seek divine steerage. Istikhara, which means “trying to get goodness,” is a method for Muslims to ask for clarity and way from Allah when uncertain about a program of action.
‘If any person continuously seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a method out of every distress in addition to a relief from each anxiety and may present sustenance for him from the place he expects not.’ (Riyad As-Salihin 1873)
Reciting this strong dua not just seeks Allah's forgiveness but also invitations His mercy, given that the Prophet (PBUH) confirmed via his personal example.
”Our Lord! definitely we think, thus forgive us our faults and help save us through the chastisement of the hearth”
Allahumma ighfirli khati’ati wa jahli wa israfi fi `Amri, wa ma anta a-‘lamu bihi minni. Allahumma ighfirli hazali wa jiddi wa khata’i wa amdi, wa kullu dhalika ‘indi.
“O Allah! That you are my Lord. None has the right for being worshiped besides You. You produced me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and assure as very best I'm able to.
Majlisi (may perhaps Allah have mercy on him) in "Al-maqbaas" claimed under The Fair Dua subject "The supplication after dawn prayer" that one must recite the following ahead of he talks to Anybody:
إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ وأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
